Heidi is one of the co-founders of Vitality at Work.  She has been consulting for individuals and organizations for over 20 years.  Heidi provides a unique perspective by combing her expertise on nutrition and exercise with her passion for mindfulness, body awareness, self-compassion and creativity. Heidi is a trained MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) Facilitator certified through the Centre for Mindfulness Studies in Toronto.

Who Should Attend? Anyone looking to create some space for stillness and self-reflection.  The intention of the day is to foster kindness and compassion towards self and other. 

Do I need to be a regular meditator?  No.  A day of stillness can benefit both new meditators as well as experienced meditators.

Join us for a day of silence and mindfulness practice at St. Brigid’s Villa on the beautiful grounds of the St. Ignatius Jesuit Centre in Guelph.  Being in silence is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself. When we share silence together it is a gift for each other as well. We create a community within the shared silence and emerge with new insights into our way of being in the world. We return to the world with fresh eyes, new growth and perhaps a sense of “being our own best friend” in the face of anything that comes our way. 



Guided Meditation Practices will include:

  • Sitting meditation (awareness of breath)
  • Mindful movement
  • Body scan meditation
  • Walking meditation (indoors and on the trails)
  • Mindful eating meditation
