Psychology of Happiness for Individual Thriving is a six-week virtual learning experience focused on the application of positive psychology to your life. The experience is grounded in a highly practical and scientifically based approach to understanding happiness and how it can apply back to work and life.
Core Learning Areas
Each week the program will focus on learning the research and application of the science of happiness. The following areas will be core to the learning experience:
Happiness is something we can cultivate, grow and build. Each member of the group will gain the necessary tools to create clear strategies to increase their happiness.
Through an interactive learning environment a small group of people will learn and grow together. The group will meet once a week with each session being 1 hour in length. Elizabeth Misener is a Co-Founder of Vitality at Work and she will be the facilitator for the program. Her creative approach to building happiness will involve discussions about the research and application of the learning to your life. The Virtual Learning Environment will allow for a very interactive learning experience and allows us to see eachother during our live sessions.
Heidi Smith, Registered Dietitian will also join us as a guest speaker for the session, "Honouring Your Body".
In between sessions, the facilitators will provide you access to important reading and videos for the topic area that week. You will need access to a computer for each session.
