MBSR Booster 4 Week Program
This program provides an opportunity to reconnect with our inner world so that we can navigate our outer world with more awareness, compassion and wise response. Over the 4 weeks we will review core MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) practices and concepts. We will also explore new content related to mindfulness, heartfulness and positive psychology. Participants will be encouraged to commit to a daily mindfulness home practice throughout the program.
Silent Retreat: The program includes a bonus Silent Retreat after the 3rd week to further deepen the experience. Retreat format includes: Introductions, mindful movement, a variety of mindfulness practices, outdoor time, your own brown bag lunch and closing circle.
Dates/Times: 4 Consecutive Mondays 6:30-8:30pm

Week 4 December 2nd
Silent Retreat: Sunday December 1st. 10am-4pm
Location: All sessions at Rivermead Stone Church. 19 Cedar St. Eden Mills Ontario.
Fees: Program Fee: $250+HST * (If the cost is prohibitive, please reach out to us for options)

Who should attend? Anyone who is familiar with MBSR practices and has/had a regular mindfulness dailypractice. Space is Limited to 12 participants. We believe in the transformative quality of small group engagement. We ask that all participants commit to attending all 4 sessions and the silent retreat, if at all possible.
Co-Facilitators: Heidi Smith, RD, BSc. and Meghan Kirwin MBA, MSc. Supervised by Gwen Morgan, MA MSW, RSW, RP through the Centre for Mindfulness Studies in Toronto.
Meghan Kirwin, MBA, MSc Meghan is one of the co-founders of Vitality at Work. She has a Master’s in Business Administration specializing in Leadership and Organizational Behaviour. She also has a Masters of Science in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of East London with a focus on mindfulness. Meghan is completing her MBSR Teaching Training at the Centre for Mindfulness Studies in Toronto.
Heidi Smith, RD, BSc. Registered Dietitian. Heidi is one of the co-founders of Vitality at Work. Heidi provides a unique perspective by combing her expertise on nutrition and exercise with her passion for mindfulness, body awareness, self-compassion and creativity. Heidi is completing her MBSR Teaching Training through the Centre for Mindfulness Studies in Toronto.
